few days ago we received a postcard from Acetre congratulating the year to all his friends, is this:

On the back reads: "To all our friends, Happy 2011,

From here we wish you a Happy New Year 2011 to all the components: that all your dreams come true, that you may be happy and come the new year full of successes. We also want to thank you for such great show we have done to live this year and in 2011 we can enjoy many and the new CD.

Acetre Acetre WITH BAXTER AND CHEYENNE BROWN (cello and harp)

Here you hints about videos of some of the few concerts that Acetre performed this summer by the cellist Seylan Baxter (common Acetre collaborator) and Cheyenne Brown harpist. A unique sound!

Seylan Baxter The Scottish Acetre has already collaborated with and, in addition to the cello part in the recording of his album Barrunto in 2003, performed live concerts in the region of Extremadura folk group. The cellist studied traditional music at the Royal Conservatory of Scotland, the first cellist to study traditional music and is considered one of the most representative of Scottish music, developing normally work in groups as 'Tattie Jam' and 'Celloarp'.


Cheyenne Brown, comes from Alaska. This will harpist with the instrument exotic touch to the issues Acetre is playing and live concerts in an abstract form of their latest recordings, especially 'Dehesario', published in 2007. Cheyenne is an expert on Celtic harp and also studied at the Royal Conservatory of Scotland, where he met Seylan Baxter and where they formed the duo 'CelloArp', specializing in traditional Scottish music. In addition, a member of the band 'Homebound' in Germany, formed by musicians from various countries. Brown has a degree in Scottish Ethnology and playing the harp since age 13.

In the words of the group, this type of live collaborations with musicians from other countries are highly enriching both the expansion and variety of rings that give the cello and the harp, as the experience of contact with musicians from other parts of Europe and the United States, which are also given to the music of Extremadura and its interpretation by that, somehow, folklore cross borders.

Moreover, in these concerts, the public has the opportunity to hear music Acetre ever, but with a different sound, full of nuance genuine from these two experienced musicians.

realize this post to recommend some sites that we have about Acetre on the Internet, and updated most frequently used are:
OFFICIAL FACEBOOK : (is carried by me and one of the components Acetre) 1115 members
TUENTI : Acetre Folk (304 friends), run by me and my friend Paloma. It was created with the intention of bringing music to the public Acetre younger.

YOUTUBE : I explain how and why I created this channel Acetre met in 2007 when they went to my people (we'll put the chronicle of that first concert and how they met ), where I got home I went online to search and learn more things so wonderful that group who had just discovered when I went on Youtube and I realized that there were only 4 videos! I wanted to see more: concerts, performances ...... By then I had a video up its own channel where varied and there I started to upload videos of Acetre Festival in Toledo in the end decided to devote my entire channel to Acetre and erased all the other videos I had, then got more shows I went and got my hands when I went on to Olivenza in 2006 (30 anniversary) , and then I came through acetreros other televised concerts like the Teatro Romano Merida 2003 Fernando sent me Almendralejo or performance Folk Plasencia 2007 and Acetre in concert Radio 3 by Jarramplás. I also received some videos recorded by acetreros with his camera and I have kindly donated as Juani videos Iñigo, José Miguel Sánchez Manzano or Paloma. Every concert I've gone I've taken my own videos and whenever Acetre (or any of its members) has come on TV I've uploaded, and when presented awards in Gala Music Awards or Victor and Anna appeared on the show 2 in Raia.
I am missing some televised concerts that I could not get as performance at the Teatro Romano de Merida in 2007, if you have and you want cedermela you send me a message @ yahoo acetre4ever . is. Whenever I Aguná video cedeis put that is yours, off course: I thank the people here has left me one of your videos for my channel as well as photos!
